A Yamaha FX cover for any 2027 FX is the same size: the P5 Weatherproof Shield, our trailerable outdoor cover in water-resistant, PU-coated 600D polyester with built-in buckles and straps. Yamaha’s US pages list the FX HO, FX SVHO, FX Cruiser HO, FX Cruiser SVHO and FX Limited SVHO, and every one is longer than our indoor Satin Shield’s limit, so there’s no Satin size for them. Older FX years aren’t in the table yet, so measure yours first.

Yamaha FX Fit Notes
No Satin Shield for the 2027 FX
Yamaha lists the 2027 FX HO, FX SVHO, FX Cruiser HO and FX Limited SVHO at 11 ft 7 in (139 in), and the FX Cruiser SVHO at 11 ft 9 in (141 in). Both lengths are over the Satin Shield’s 138 in limit, so we don’t offer a Satin size for any of them. Yamaha gives these lengths in feet and inches, so measure yours: if it comes out at 138 in or less, contact us before you order. The P5 Weatherproof Shield is the cover for every listed FX.
The FX Cruiser SVHO Listing
Yamaha’s US page lists the 2027 FX Cruiser SVHO at 11 ft 9 in (141 in), 2 in longer than the other FX models’ 11 ft 7 in (139 in). It’s still a P5, 4 in under the top of the P5 range at 145 in.
Older FX Years
The table lists only the 2027 FX models. For an earlier FX, measure its overall length in a straight line from bow to stern, then match it to the sizes in the size guide. If it lands on a line or between two sizes, choose the larger one.
FAQ
Questions About Yamaha FX Covers
What size cover fits a Yamaha FX?
A P5 Weatherproof Shield. Yamaha lists every 2027 FX at 139 in or 141 in overall, inside the P5’s 135 to 145 in range.
Is there an indoor Satin Shield for the FX?
Not for the 2027 FX. The Satin Shield’s largest size, the PWC3, goes up to 138 in, and Yamaha lists every 2027 FX at 139 in or 141 in. We don’t offer a Satin size for them. Yamaha gives these lengths in feet and inches, so measure yours: if it comes out at 138 in or less, contact us before you order.
Does the FX Cruiser SVHO need a bigger cover?
No. Yamaha lists the 2027 FX Cruiser SVHO at 141 in, 2 in longer than the other FX models, but that’s still inside the P5 range, which goes up to 145 in. It takes the same P5 Weatherproof Shield.
What if my FX is older than the 2027 models?
Measure it. The table on this page lists the 2027 FX models only, so for an earlier FX, measure the overall length from bow to stern and match it to the sizes. The measuring guide shows how. On a line or between two sizes, choose the larger size.
